How do I make videos for uVu?
There are a number of ways to create videos for uVu. First, you will need a video capture device of some kind. A handheld video camera is the most obvious choice, but there are some digital cameras that can capture video as well. Also, image slideshows set to music can tell quite a story. Creativity is the key.

The second step is to get the video to the computer. Most cameras come with cables, software and instructions for transferring video to a computer. This is usually done via your computer’s USB or Firewire connection. There are also a number of different software products and websites available for video import and video editing. A simple internet search or trip to your local computer store will help. Many products are inexpensive or even free.

Another good choice for editing is Quicktime Pro. There is a small cost ($30) but the preset formats make submitting to uVu very easy.
